komodo dragons bearded dragons and flying dragons

Komodo dragons are the biggest lizard on earth and at the same time the heaviest. Full grown adults can be ten feet long. Komodo dragons are millions of years old. Komodo dragons have saliva with lots of harmful bacteria that kills most things in twenty four hours. Komodo dragons are solitary creatures. The bearded dragon is from Australia. Bearded dragons can grow to 24 inches long. They can bring their body temperature back to normal by changing color. Flying dragons are 8 inches long. On each side of a flying dragons body it has small and thin wing like skin folds. Flying lizards (a type of flying dragon) only go on the ground to lay eggs.

  1. A movie star named Sharon Stone some years ago gave her husband as a Father's Day gift a private tour of the San Francisco Zoo (I think that was the zoo). The zoo offered private tours for a price. When they got to the komodo dragon cage, a zoo guide told the man to take off his shoes before going into the komodo dragon's cage. The komodo dragon might be attracted to the smell of the leather shoes, he said. The husband took of his shoes and went in barefoot. Guess what? The lizard bit the man's foot, and really hard. The man was seriously injured and took a long time to heal. So, I think the lesson is: Do not go into the komodo dragon's cage with or without shoes.
