pandas are more raccoons then pandas. Because they have tails. Their tails are
like racoon tails. They have the same body shape. But they do eat bamboo. Orangutans
make muscle healing cream out of leaves. they make the the cream by smashing
the leaves in their mouth. Platypuses produce milk from their skin. assassin
bugs bite your eyelids or lips and leave a painful bite. the terror bird which
lived fifteen million years ago was 10 feet tall and weighed 500 pounds. A
spider called patu digua can be 1 third of a millimeter. african wild dogs have the strongest bite of any living carnivore. olms are blind but they have great hearing and smell! casowary birds are so strong they can kick over cars!!!!!wombats have square poop! amoebas reproduce by splitting parts off them! tardigrades can survive just about anwhere including space!

DeleteI am glad that you mentioned tardigrades. They are fascinating, tiny creatures, as you indicated. Like Fact Finder, I had not heard of them until watching Cosmos, but I know someone who did know about them. I think he has a blog now....

ReplyDeleteI did read your item about Cecil. That is so sad, his pointless death. Some people have said that a lot of bad things happen in the world, and wonder why the anger about Cecil's death is so great. But all bad and sad events are important. And many of them do get a lot of attention. We need to be concerned about all of them. I think that Cecil's death upset people so much because he was a symbol of efforts to protect animals and the Earth everywhere. I am glad that you wrote about Cecil. Maybe more will be done to protect other lions and other animals because people are more aware now that they need protection.
